How to Join the British Society of Master Glass Painters

If you would like to become a member of the British Society of Master Glass Painters, please read the Conditions of membership below and the Code of Practice before submitting a membership application.

Conditions of BSMGP membership

BSMGP members will promote the objects of the BSMGP, as stated in the Memorandum and Article of Association of the Society, and will enhance the good standing of the BSMGP and of the craft so as to create public confidence in those who are members of the Society by the following the BSMGP Code of Practice.

Ways of joining or renewing your membership

You can purchase or renew BSMGP membership instantly with a credit card/PayPal. (Please note that, contrary to the statement on the online form, the online payment facility is for a single payment, and not a repeat subscription facility. Subscription needs to be renewed annually.) Learn more.

Alternatively, you can download and print out the Application Form (in Word docx and pdf formats), or the Renewal Form for Ordinary members or Fellows/Associates, as applicable,  then complete and return with payment and a large s.a.e. to the BSMGP Secretary:

– together with a cheque made payable to The BSMGP Trust and a stamped, self-addressed A4 envelope. (For the correct amount, see the table of subscription rates in the Application Form.) A receipt will be issued on request.

NB Ordinary membership is not a professional qualification and does not entitle its holders to quote membership (e.g. in advertising).

Designers/craft members can apply for other levels of membership after joining.
