Antique glass, painted. "Light" is the theme of my stained glass. By using strong contrast of tone, colour and shape, I hope to create that mysterious brilliance of the first light. Traditional methods and materials have been used in this panel. I consider stained glass work to be "painting with light" within the limitations of the medium and its relationship within the architectural setting. My imagination is sparked off by ideas of shapes and colour, firstly through investigation into the given subject, developed and organised to form a balanced whole.
