David Griffiths is a stained glass artist and glazier.

After three years training in Architectural stained glass at Swansea, David became a glazier at Canterbury Cathedral where he has now worked for twenty-five years. He has gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of stained glass and is particularly drawn to working to commission to create new ecclesiastical windows.

David likes to use traditional glass painting and glazing techniques using mouth-blown antique glass. He undertakes every stage of the project from design to manufacture, calling on his experienced colleagues at the Cathedral Studios for valued creative opinion and assistance with installation. He looks forward to where his imagination may take his next commission.
