Glass at Central is a fascinating account of the achievements of the Stained glass course at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London. The courses had included the Postgraduate Course of Professional Studies in Glass as well as evening and weekend classes and summer schools. These have been closed down, due to re-structuring of the whole college which coincided with the move to new premises at the Granary Warehouse at Kings Cross.
This book recollects the history of the course, placing particular emphasis on the last 25 years. It features work and achievements of over 110 alumni as well as recollections by students and staff, who share their memories of being at CSM, their artists statements and what they have been doing since leaving the college. It presents the rich and varied work in glass by alumni of the glass courses in richly illustrated entries on 204 pages.
