Order of events:
The pre-chosen nominated items will be presented to the public in an exhibition in Zwiesel from 03 September until 03 October 2013.
By applying to take part the glass-artists agree to display any items selected by the jury in the exhibition.
The jury prize award follows the opening of the exhibition on 09 August 2013.
The winner of the public prize will be announced on 03 October 2013.
Submitted photos will be used both for advertising purposes as well as in the exhibition catalogue. (Please ensure the photos are of a good standard!).
Photos submitted free-of-charge by the artists may be used for advertising purposes in any way the organisers wish. By registering to take part artists confirm they hold the public rights to the photos.
Items selected must be delivered at the artists’ own cost. Return transport costs will be met by the organisers. However, this only relates to items the artist has said are available for sale. If items are registered as “not for sale“ the artist will be responsible for both delivery and return costs.
It is also possible for artists to deliver and collect the items themselves. The town of Zwiesel will retain 30% of the sale price of any item sold during the exhibition.
Items will be exhibited according to the organisers requirements. Special wishes of artists can only be taken into account, provided they do not give rise to any additional costs and do not affect the overall impression of the exhibition. In every case the final decision rests with the organisers. Throughout the period of the exhibition, items will be insured for 75% of the sale price. However, this does not apply to transport to or from the exhibition. Supervisory staff will be provided by the organisers.
