Shona McInnes Fellow
I specializ
e in new stained glass for architectural settings in public buildings. Examples include the entrance foyer, Heriot Watt University; Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline; Scotus College, Glasgow. I also design for private houses and work extensively on new glass commissions in churches, for example Dunbar Parish Church; the Oil Industry Chapel, Aberdeen; Holy Family Church, Dunblane. I enjoy interpreting traditional themes in a contemporary way, often inspired by Christian and Celtic symbolism. I rarely work in a figurative style, and do not undertake restoration.
