Kate Henderson Associate
I work mainly to commission making stained glass panels, windows and screens for public, private buildings and exhibition pieces. My work tends to be abstract and explores the textures and marks from natural materials such as slate, wood and stone. I emulate these marks on handmade glass with glass paint, stains and enamels.
I love the challenge of commissioned work; creating glass for a specific project which explores the quality of light within that building, letting the colours and textures within the glass enhance the environment.
