Jane Gray Fellow
I trained at Kingston School of Art, 1949-51 then the Royal College of Art, 1952-5. I worked for Lawrence Lee on the Coventry Cathedral nave windows 1956-8 and in his own studio for another 6 years. I have completed 78 windows so far for churches, civic and heraldic panels; many domestic windows in private houses and hundreds of commemorative roundels.
My work uses traditional techniques for stained glass: acid etching, painting, staining and firing in the kiln. The panels are glazed with lead came.
