Glaziers’ Charity Awards 2027
The Glaziers’ Company Charity is pleased to announce the launch of the Annual Awards Scheme 2026/7. The Awards will support the training and development of artists and conservators working in the fields of architectural and stained glass.
Ashton Hill/Lever Awards
Work placement awards for emerging stained glass artists (Lever Award) and conservators (Ashton Hill Award)
Up to £6000 to support a 12-week placement in up to 4 studios, plus a £300 Evelyn and George Gee tool allowance

New ‘taster’ Lever & Asthon Hill one-week work placements, worth up to £625.
Work placement grants for individuals new to stained glass to gain experience in the professional work environment in a creative studio (Lever Taster Week Grant) or conservation studio (Ashton Hill Taster Week Grant)

Professional Development Grants up to £1000 for professional development activity including training, research and conference attendance.
Apply by 30 September 2026
Business Development Awards
Up to £3000 Business Development Award to help with setting up a new business or growing an existing business.
Can be used to support business development activities, equipment purchases or the cost of taking on a new trainee or apprentice.
