Canterbury Cathedral’s Stained Glass Studio are looking for an accomplished Conservator. 

Contract type: Permanent / Full-time – 37 ••• hours per week

The Stained Glass team of seven conservators/glaziers/glass painters, including three PACR accredited colleagues, are dedicated to the care, conservation, interpretation, and maintenance of the internationally important collection of stained glass of Canterbury Cathedral. The studio also carries out a wide range of work for other clients, including the design and manufacture of new windows. 

The ideal candidate would be a Stained Glass Conservator with sound craft skills in glazing and experience in site work. It is essential that the candidate is able to work at height, and has a clean UK driving licence. 

Based at our conservation studio in the precincts of Canterbury Cathedral (part of a World Heritage Site), the position at times requires working away from base in other important historic buildings around the country.
