A Celebration of Contemporary Stained Glass

Join us in the beautiful surroundings of the Art Workers Guild for a celebration of contemporary stained glass.

Our keynote speaker is Deborah Lowe, an artist who has produced many stunning windows. After gaining a BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art Deborah studied Architectural Stained Glass at the renowned Swansea Institute. Following her training she gained experience working as apprentice and manager in architectural stained glass studios and was awarded the two year incumbency of the Worshipful Company of Glaziers’ Studio in Ironbridge before setting up her own studio. Deborah is an Associate Member of the British Society of Master Glass Painters and a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Glaziers by Gift. She works from her studio on the Yorkshire Lancashire border.

Deb will be talking about the 2024 winning commission for the RAF Club in Piccadilly that she worked on with designer Chad Kenney, a serviceman from the Royal Auxillary Air Force. Chad will be speaking about the inspiration for his design.

The evening will include other special guests, Oksana Kondratyeva and Sasha Ward who have worked on exciting contemporary glass projects.

We will be at the Art Workers Guild in London on Friday 27 June 2025. Entry from 5.30 pm for a 6.15 start. There will be a buffet supper following the proceedings and a chance to mingle and talk to other stained glass enthusiasts and professionals. Event ends at 9.30 pm.

Tickets for the talks only are £18.70 members (£22 non-members). Cost including a delicious buffet supper £37.40 for members (£44 non-members). Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
