Find a Conservator
If you are a custodian of historic glass, please ensure that you have a good quality photographic record of your windows to assist conservation in the unhappy event of damage occurring. Always gather up any and all fragments of glass as even the smallest fragments will be of value in the conservation process.
The maintenance and care of historic glass require special skills. Ongoing environmental damage and vandalism have resulted in an enormous increase in demand for these skills, especially in the care of our unparalleled wealth of 19th-century glass.
The Institute for Conservation (ICON) can provide a comprehensive list of their Accredited Conservator-Restorers (ACRs). We publish below, with permission, the names of those British Society of Master Glass Painters members who are current ACRs, together with links to their ICON page and/or website.
