Conservation Working Group

The working group reports regularly to the Council of the British Society of Master Glass Painters. It now includes individuals who are also committee members of the Icon stained glass section committee, professionals from a range of the leading conservation studios, and the Master of the Glaziers Company. We are also very happy that we have a leading art historian of the 19th century period, who will act as an advocate for work of that period. We are very grateful to these individuals for agreeing to contribute, and are greatly encouraged that there is an emphasis on youth within our group, as well as the more established members.
