Laura Gilroy is a professional stained glass artist and founded Gilroy Stained Glass with her husband John. Their studio is located in Vancouver, Canada, and specialises in traditional and contemporary glass painting.

Laura's love for stained glass was encouraged when she was very young; in 1989 she began an intensive apprentice-style education at James, Clark & Eaton of Bristol, and subsequently with Roy Coomber FMGP. She and John then achieved their ambition to open their own studio in Bristol. Searching for opportunities to expand led them in 2005 to Vancouver as a location where they could further their portfolio.

Laura enjoys focusing on design and creating the full size cartoons for the commissions that Gilroy Stained Glass undertakes. In recent years the studio has completed projects for many churches, residential and commercial locations as well as exhibiting for the Architectural Institute of British Columbia and Vancouver's Luxury Home and Design Show.
